DESCRIPTION

You'll be happy you planted this star performer. A sturdy, vigorous plant with pure white petals that shoot straight out from the center cone. Mature plants flower for an extended period from mid-summer into fall. Looks great when planted with native grasses. Attracts butterflies all summer and birds relish the seeds from the spent flowers. Easy to grow and widely adaptable.

Coneflowers do double duty when it comes to benefiting wildlife. The new flowers provide nectar for butterflies and other pollinators while old flowers provide seed for songbirds.
GROWING TIPS
Easy to grow in full sun to part shade but flowers best in full sun. Adapts to drought, moist soil, heat, humidity and poor soil. Let flowers go to seed and you will find finches and other songbirds eating the seed in late summer and fall.
