Ratibida pinnata
The flowers of Prairie Coneflower rise high above rough, compound foliage from June through August with 3" long, drooping petals surrounding a tall, elongated, dark-colored center disk. This sun lover is great massed at the back of a border and is a sure bird, hummingbird, and butterfly attractor.
