Green Hopbush
Dodonaea viscosa 'Emerald Ice'

Green hopseed is valued for dense, deep green foliage, and tropical texture. Little to no pruning is needed for green hopseed to maintain its form. May be trained into a small tree or sheared if a more manicured effect is desired. A great choice for hedges or screens, and as a foundation, background, or specimen plant. ‘Emerald Ice’ survives temperatures at least 10 degrees cooler than other hopseed without freezing.  Introduced by Civano Nursery in Tuscon Arizona.

Interesting Facts
