Oakleaf HydrangeaHydrangea quercifolia 'Snow Queen'
‘Snow Queen’ has even more, showier flowers than the species. It blooms in late spring and summer. The flowers mature to a rosy pink as the summer changes into fall. About that time, the foliage begins to turn a breathtaking mixture of bronze, crimson and purple. Cinnamon colored, exfoliating bark remains attractive all winter long. This is truly a versatile shrub with outstanding year-round interest.

GROWING TIPS
Grows best in average to medium moisture, well-drained soil in part shade although it is quite adaptable to different soil types except for very dry. Tolerates more sun the northern part of it’s range. Blooms on new wood so you may cut it back in late winter to 1-2’ to keep the shrub looking young and vigorous.
