DESCRIPTION
Showy Tick Trefoil
Desmodium canadense
Tall and tolerant, this plant is covered with bunches of pink-purple, pea-like flowers from mid-July into August. Seedpods adhere to passing critters and are distributed by them. Great nectar source and an essential food chain component for Silver Spotted Skippers and other native butterflies.
