Amelanchier alnifolia 'Regent'

‘Regent’ is a compact, shrub or small tree with big benefits for wildlife. Delicate, fragrant, white flowers bloom in early spring providing nectar for butterflies and other pollinators. Reddish purple berries arrive in summer and are relished by birds. You can also pick them for pies and jams. In the autumn, the foliage turns yellow with a touch of red. Easy to grow in sun or part shade and is tolerant of a wide range of soils.

GROWING TIPS

Easily grown in full sun to partial shade. It prefers average to moist conditions and is not particular as to soil type or pH. The berries are great for pies, jams and fresh eating.Great for shrub borders, woodland gardens and along the banks of ponds. This is a compact form, great for smaller gardens.
