DESCRIPTION

New Jersey tea
Ceanothus americanus

Plant becomes covered with delicate, sweetly scented white flowers in early May. 4" deep green leaves tightly pack this compact spreading shrub. 'New Jersey Tea' is tough enough for rough landscape spots, but refined enough to use as a specimen or border planting in a more formal setting.
