A powerful butterfly-attracting perennial with strong stature and garden presence. Huge mauve-pink flowers are set on wine red stems bloom from July into September.

GROWING TIPS

Grows well in average to moist soils in a sunny location. Hollow stems are good for solitary nesting bees so if possible leave 6-18" of stems through the winter.  Excellent selection for the back of the border or meadow plantings.
