This perennial groundcover has pleasing gray-green foliage on spreading branches that produce a delightful display of pinkish purple flowers spring through fall if given a little extra moisture in summer. Versatile enough to be used in containers and along walkways, it attracts butterflies and birds

Sandy soils, washes, rocky slopes from 3960-6600 feet.
Interesting Facts
Hummingbird nests are tiny but well built. It takes the female almost a week to build, making over one hundred trips a day. The foundation is made of spider webs followed by a soft layer of moss and leaf bits then more spider webs.
GROWING TIPS
Low maintenance, cut back in mid summer to remove spent blooms.
