Helianthus pauciflorus var. subrhomboideus x tuberosus 'Lemon Queen'

'Lemon Queen' is a tall growing perennial sunflower that graces the back of the garden with it showy lemon yellow color all summer.  Butterflies and native insects go crazy for the nectar of these profuse single daisy flowers.  Massing provides great texture and a unforgettable wall of color. Helianthus 'Lemon Queen' is a selection of the naturally-occurring midwestern hybrid of Helianthus pauciflorus var. subrhomboideus and Helianthus tuberosus.
