Threadleaf tickseed has an upright and vigorous habit with fine, needle-like foliage.  The countless buds open in late spring turning into clouds of single yellow daisies throughout the summer. Butterflies flock to this carefree perennial that thrives in full sun and well drained soil.

GROWING TIPS

 

Preforms best in full sun to part shade in average to dry soils that are well drained. An extremely tolerant plant. Does well in poor, rocky soils. Tolerant of humidity, heat, and dry conditions. Spreads by both rhizomes and seeds but is not invasive.

 

Mature Size: 2-3ft. Tall x 18-24in. Wide
