Geum triflorum is a delightful little prairie plant that easily makes the transition to a perennial border or rock garden. It will charm you in spring with it’s nodding pink flowers and later with its wispy seedheads. Drought tolerant once established. Great for grouping in dry areas in sun or shade.

INTERESTING FACTS

To attract hummingbirds to your yard, try offering cover such as evergreen trees or shrubs, a moving water source such as a stream or sprinkler, perching spots such as bare branches or arbors, and plenty of brightly colored flowers for a natural nectar source.

 

GROWING TIPS

Prefers full sun, medium to dry conditions and a  rocky or gravelly soil. Young plants should be kept well-watered during hot summer weather.
