INTERESTING FACTS
Children can create a simple bird feeder by attaching a string to a pinecone and coating it with a fatty mixture of 1/2 cup vegetable shortening and 2 1/2 cups of cornmeal or uncooked oatmeal then roll it in birdseed to hang from a tree.
